29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) Northwest corner of T.H.S. Insourcing: The exit door leading to the outside of the building would only open a few inches due to being blocked by stacks of cardboard boxes, large plastic trays, and a section of a metal guard / barrier. b) The west end of the way-of-exit to the exit door in T.H.S. Insourcing was blocked by charging station built into a metal frame with guarding and it was screwed into the concrete floor, the south end of this way-of-exit was blocked by large ball transfer plates, placed on the floor to move packages. c) East end of the way-of-exit to the exit door in T.H.S. Insourcing was completely blocked off by plastic mail tubs and a section of a "wheeled" conveyor system as well as the large ball transfer plates. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1):Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a) North Wall of the Building near the Northwest corner: A Kidde ABC portable fire extinguisher could not be reached by employees due to mail tubs and a section of "wheeled" conveyor system blocking off employee access to the area.
