29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) At 5520 Export Blvd, Garden City, GA 31408: On or about March 7, 2024, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards in that, the power folder was not adequately guarded to prevent contact with pinch points during normal manufacturing operation of the equipment.
