29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns.  At the jobsite, employees were not wearing hardhats while working below other employees that were framing a residential house, exposing employees to struck-by hazards from falling objects.  Abelino Coronado was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1568202, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/08/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8178 Mary Curran Court, Dallas, TX 75252.  Referred to U.S. Treasury for collections on 6/14/2022 and current total balance of $10, 150.38.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.  At the jobsite, employees operating a Paslode nail gun to perform framing activities without eye and face protection exposing him to the hazard of being struck-by flying objects.  Abelino Coronado was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1568202, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/08/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8178 Mary Curran Court, Dallas, TX 75252.  Referred to U.S. Treasury for collections on 6/14/2022 and current total balance of $10, 150.38.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  At the jobsite, employees performing framing activities were not provided fall protection.  The employer did not provide a training program with hazard recognition and avoidance training where part of the job is to be exposed to fall hazards at a heights over 6 feet to the ground below.
