29 CFR 1926.501(c): When employees were exposed to falling objects, the employer did not require employees to wear hard hats and did not implement measures to prevent objects from falling from higher levels as set forth in Subsections (1), (2), and (3) of this Paragraph (c): a) On or about March 8, 2024, at 418 N Sapodilla Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401, employees at ground level were exposed to falling-object hazards, and the employer did not ensure that protective devices such as toe-boards, screens, canopies, or barricades were installed to protect workers from injuries from the free fall of 2x4x8 wood pieces placed loose on the sloped roof.
