29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition. (a) 10 Hoss Drive & Warehouse 10: On or about March 5, 2024, and times prior, the employer exposed employees to potential struck-by hazards while operating damaged forklifts. Forklift #8 did not have a back-up alarm or reverse lights; Forklift #1 did not have reverse lights, but both were in operation during the inspection.
