29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about March 6, 2024, at 2518 Emerald Court, Andover, KS 67002, employees using a Warner 18' multi-position ladder in order to access the roof was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet 10 inches from the roofs' eave to the ground below in that the ladder was not extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing.
