Employees were observed performing daily tasks such as, but not limited to, polishing granite and quartz pieces that has crystalline silica as a composition material for manufactured stone.

On or about March 11, 2024, in the Fabrication area: the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards, in that employees voluntarily wore the 3M Half facepiece respirators while performing polishing tasks on manufactured or natural granite pieces. Employees were observed performing daily tasks such as, but not limited to, polishing the granite and quartz pieces that has crystalline silica as a composition material for manufactured stone.
