29 CFR  1926.55(a)(2): An employee(s) was exposed to substance(s) with a permissible exposure limit not preceded by (C) at concentrations above that specified in Table 1 of �1926.55 for that substance(s):   620R Lindley Street, Bridgeport CT: On or about March 13, 2024, one employee was working around two gasoline powered water pumps when he was exposed to carbon monoxide at concentrations in excess of the 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 parts per million (ppm). The water pumps were used in an enclosed space which allowed the exhaust gases to accumulate.  One employee had been exposed to carbon monoxide at an 8-hour TWA of  181.8 ppm which is 3.62 times the PEL. The exposure concentration was derived by entering the employee's carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) concentration and other data into the Coburn-Forster-Kane equation.
