29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a) Roof - On or about March 12, 2024 and at times prior thereto, employees were operating pneumatic nail guns without the use of safety glasses. The LG Junior Contracting, Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1435132, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 29, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 183-186 Arrowood Court, Middlebury, CT 06762. The LG Junior Contracting, Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1389702, Citation Number 1, Item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/13/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 34 Stratford Lane, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
