29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: a) Dollar Tree Store # 3788, 2641 East Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY: On or about 3/13/24, the store was not kept in clean, orderly and sanitary condition due to the presence of water-logged ceiling tiles, water-damaged ceiling tiles, a ceiling tile with visible mold growth, a collapsed ceiling tile blocking an overhead air circulation vent and damaged/rusting store shelving present due to water which had previously leaked from the ceiling and onto the wall on which the shelving was located. The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, failure to comply will result in additional penalty of $ 1,000.00.
