29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2):29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2) [Refer to �12-60-2(a), HAR]:Installation and use. Listed or labeled equipment shall be installed and used in accordance with any instructions included in the listing or labeling. (a) at 27072 Ballston Road, Sheridan, Oregon 97378, Business Office and Mail Room on or about March 13, 2024 and at times prior thereto: Employees were exposed to fire and electrical shock hazardous condition from a Relocatable power taps (power strips) were series-connected (daisy-chained) to extension cords or other power strips resulting in minor burns and electrical shock. For Reference: Underwriters Laboratories (UL), refers to power strips as Relocatable Power Taps (RPTs) and, in its "General Information for Electrical Equipment Directory" (sometimes called the UL white book or UL Directory) contains instructions that require UL-listed RPTs to be directly connected to a permanently installed branch circuit receptacle; they are not to be series-connected to other RPTs or connected to extension cords.
