29 CFR 1910.30(b)(1): The employer did not train each employee on or before May 17, 2017, in the proper care, inspection, storage, and use of equipment covered by this subpart before an employee uses the equipment. a) On or about March 12, 2024, and at times prior to, at 1590 Jamaica Court, Marco Island, FL 34145, employees engaged in installation/repair of air conditioning equipment were exposed to fall hazards, and the employer did not provide training in the proper care, inspection, storage, and use of ladders for the recognition and prevention of fall hazards. Or in the alternative: 29 CFR 1926.1060(a)(1)(iii): The employer did not ensure that each employee using ladders and/or stairways had been trained by a competent person in the proper construction, use, placement, and care in handling the ladders and/or stairways: a) On or about March 12, 2024, and at times prior to, at 1590 Jamaica Court, Marco Island, FL 34145, employees engaged in installation/repair of air conditioning equipment were exposed to fall hazards, and the employer did not provide training in the proper construction, use, placement, and care in handling ladders and/or stairways for the recognition and prevention of fall hazards.
