29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying objects while using a nail gun. On or about March 15, 2024 employees were exposed to eye injury while using pneumatic nail guns to fasten residential framing lumber without wearing eye protection. The Mendoza Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1668104, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 16, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 321 Chase Creek, LAVON, TX 75166.
