29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition:  a) Technotrix, Inc., located at 1407 Huntington Dr., Calumet City, IL 60409:  On or about March 19, 2024, the employer failed to ensure walking working surfaces to the mezzanine were inspected and maintained in a safe condition. Employees were exposed to a gap between the mezzanine and the rolling staircase being used as permanent access to the mezzanine. The gap measured approximately 5.5 inches between the two surfaces and was approximately the width of the mobile staircase (estimated greater than 20 inches).
