29 CFR  1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  262 Bee Street, Meriden CT: On or about March 20, 2024, the employer did not ensure the employees on a six pitch roof with unprotected sides and edges were protected from falling by the use of personal fall arrest systems for the employees performing tasks such as (but not limited to) roofing activities.  JBM Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1566030, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 28, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 522 Spielman Highway, Burlington CT 06013.
