29 CFR 1910.164(c)(1):29 CFR 1910.164(c)(1): The employer did not maintain all systems in an operable condition except during repairs or maintenance. a) (U.S. Postal Service NDC - Distribution Center) (9201 Edgeworth Dr, Capital Heights, MD) On or about March 14, 2024, employer failed to maintain an operable fire alarm system when employees attempted to activate a manual fire alarm pull station during a fire. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
