29 CFR 1910.22(d)(2): The employer did not ensure that hazardous conditions on walking-working surfaces are corrected or repaired before an employee uses the walking-working surface again. The employer did not ensure that if the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard is guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired. On or about March 20, 2024, at the store located at 21230 St Andrews Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33433, a guardrail for the indoor floor lift platform used for unloading trucks did not lock in position, exposing employees who worked from the platform to a potential fall hazard while unloading delivery trucks.
