29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: Location- 61 County Street, New Bedford, MA On March 21, 2024, employees exposed to overhead struck-by hazards from tools and materials while working at ground level as other employees were working on the roof where protective helmets were not utilized. Tony Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1392617, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 289 - 291 Forest Hill St., Jamaica Plain, MA.
