29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Maintenance Warehouse: On or about March 22, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical burns, in that a safety shower and eye wash station capable of providing at least 15 minutes of water flow was not available for employees using ZEP CON IND PURPLE DEGREASER. The SPEAKMAN GRAVITYFLO SE 4400-9 GALLON eye wash station was placed on a storage rack at the back of the facility and was covered in dust.

29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: a) Maintenance Warehouse: On or about March 22, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards, in that employees were provided tight fitting 3M 8511 N95 and 3M half face elastomeric respirators with cartridges, without establishing a written respiratory protection program while employees perform emergency exit light repair, inspection, certification and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
