29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift. (a) Front of Building Overhang: On March 25, 2024, an employee was operating and working from a JLG 600AJ articulating boom lift to perform work on the outside edge of the front building overhang. The employee did not have a lanyard attached to one of the JLG platform anchor points exposing the employee to a fall of up to 13ft. 4in. Cornerstone Interiors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.453(b)(2)(v), contained in OSHA inspection number 1533847, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 1, 2021 with respect to a workplace located at 123 Capitol Street, Charleston, WV.
