29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer shall determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely On or about March 26, 2024 The employer did not perform an inspection of the walking / working roof prior to begin roof repairs to ensure the roof surface did not expose employees to fall and fall through hazards. An employee fell through the roof to ground level at approximately 15 feet height. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
