One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc.  At an establishment located at 101 West Waukau Avenue, Suite A in Oshkosh, Wisconsin,  (a)  On or about March 27, 2024, the Hightop, Machine Type:  CM-1700; Machine Serial:  202311111A, had an unguarded nip point where the core and chuck come together on the unwind section exposing employees to caught in between hazards.  (b)  On or about March 26, 2024, the Dexinda, Equipment Model:  BF-30, Machine Size 6500 x 2000 x 1800, had several unguarded nip points exposing employees to caught between hazards.  The unguarded nip points included but not limited to:      1)  The rollers below the folding machine,      2)  the Nip rolls next to the gusset      3)  the nip rolls just prior to the handle hole punch      4)  The nip rollers just prior to the sealer,      5)  The sealer.  (c)  On or about March 27, 2024, the Machine 10, Dusenbery 815, had unguarded slitter blades exposing employees to caught in between hazards.  (d)  On or about March 27, 2024, the Machine 10, Dusenbery 815, had a guard opening in the center which allowed access to the rotating cam on the unwind section exposing employees to struck by hazards.  (e)  On or about March 21, 2024, the Machine 20, Deacro, Model:  DA650; Serial Number:  10900, had a guard opening which allowed access to the rotating cam on the unwind section exposing employees to struck by hazards.
