29 CFR  1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a) On or about March 27, 2024, employees conducting sheathing work on a 6:12 pitch new construction roof were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet, 6 inches on the North side of the roof, onto dirt and gravel when employees were not tied into the available fall protection system.
