29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a) New townhome construction located on at 254 Bald Avenue, McDonough, GA 30253, on second floor landing: On or about 3/28/2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.  b) New townhome construction located on at 258 Bald Avenue, McDonough, GA 30253, on second floor landing: On or about 3/28/2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.  c) New townhome construction located on at 262 Bald Avenue, McDonough, GA 30253, on second floor landing: On or about 3/28/2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.  d) New townhome construction located on at 266 Bald Avenue, McDonough, GA 30253, on second floor landing: On or about 3/28/2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.  e) New townhome construction located on at 270 Bald Avenue, McDonough, GA 30253, on second floor landing: On or about 3/28/2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(13):The top or top step of a stepladder shall not be used as a step.  a)  New townhome structure located at 254 Bald Avenue, McDonough, GA 30253, Second floor landing: On or about 03/28/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards up to 9,-feet, 10-inches to the lower level in that employees were utilizing the top step of a 6-foot self-supporting ladder to gain access to the upper working area landing.
