29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights did not bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation: On or about April 4, 2024, scaffold systems used by employees during framing and/or cornice work were not equipped with base plates and mud sills and provided a firm foundation, exposing employees to fall hazards in the following instances (a-b): a) Pump Jack Scaffolding poles on the southwest side of the home were not set on a firm foundation, and all poles were not equipped with base plates and mudsills. b) Pump Jack Scaffolding poles on the northeast side of the home did not have base plates and mud sills.
