Untrained forklift operators are hazardous to other employees working in the direct vicinity, such as not ensuring attachments are secured to the forks and overloading by attaching platforms that are too large for the lift, increasing the likelihood of struck by incidents, tipping and rollovers.

Another employee was exposed to eye struck by hazards while installing soffit framing material while using a Paslode brand pneumatic framing nail gun. BMB Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1611040, citation number one, item number one and was affirmed as a final order on October 19, 2022 with respect to a workplace located at 5061 Shepards Glen, Willoughby, OH 44094.
