29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3): When work was to be performed near overhead lines, the lines were not deenergized and grounded, nor were other protective measures provided before work was started: (a) 42 Jefferson Street Red Bank, NJ: The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from electrical hazards. Employees were operating a truck mounted crane and made contact with 7.5 KW powerlines while employee was holding headache ball. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
