29 CFR 1926.405(e)(1): Cabinets, cutout boxes, fittings, boxes, and panelboard enclosures in damp or wet locations were not installed so as to prevent moisture or water from entering and accumulating within the enclosures: (a) In front of Building 2; On or about April 4, 2024, and dates prior, the employer did not ensure that a 2-gang junction box was installed in a way to prevent water or moisture from entering the enclosure while the receptacles were being used. The junction box lain in snow, mud, and water accumulations on the ground while the receptacle openings faced skyward with an extension cord plugged into each of the four receptacle openings to provide power to temporary heating units.
