29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system: On or about March 7, 2024, employees who were installing preppy drip ledge panels to the roof, were wearing fall protection but was not tied off, were not protected from falling, exposing the employees to an unprotected fall hazard of approximately 20 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: At the jobsite, employees performing roofing activities with fall protection but was not tied off, were not provided a training program with hazard recognition and avoidance training where part of the job is to be exposed to fall hazards at a heights over 6 feet to the ground below.
