29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about April 9, 2024, Ibarra's Construction LLC jobsite located at 171 Dowell Ave. Bellefontaine OH 43311, did not ensure employees were protected from falls while performing truss installation, sheathing, and framing activities atop a low sloped commercial wood framed structure. Four employees installing framing and plywood sheathing on the commercial wood framed building were exposed to falls of 12 feet and 9 inches or greater, from the unprotected sides and edges of the structure to the ground below.
