Granada Avenue, Lindenhurst, NY, 11757 - Employees onsite were exposed to falling approximately 20-feet to the ground below while working on the second story of a residential private dwelling without the use of fall protection; on or about April 11, 2024. b) Worksite 41 W. Granada Avenue, Lindenhurst, NY, 11757 - Employees onsite were exposed to falling approximately 10-feet to the ground below while working on the first story of a two-story residential private dwelling without the use of fall protection; on or about April 11, 2024. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) Worksite 41 W. Granada Avenue, Lindenhurst, NY, 11757 - Employee on site were utilizing a 24-foot aluminum extension ladder to access a 10-foot roof. The ladder was extend approximately 1-foot above the landing surface; on or about April 11, 2024. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
