29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: On or about April 12, 2024, Employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 20 feet while engaged in residential roofing activities. Fall protection was not being utilized while employee was engaged in soffit installation activities. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d). AJJ Home Construction Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1681472, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 27, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 617 Westgate Rd., Deerfield, IL. 60015.
