29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person designated by the employer.  a) At 1 1st Solar Way, Trinity, AL 35673: On or April 15, 2024: The employer exposed employees and subcontractor's employees to electrical hazard while performing quality assurance and lightening arrestor re-installation work in the Main Distribution Panel #17 (MDP-17-B41). The employer failed to conduct frequent and regular inspections of the worksite by a competent person to recognize potential hazards and determine the proper procedure to eliminate them.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
