29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a). Hearthside Food Solutions on or about April 10, 2024, at the location of 312 Rader Rd. Mc Comb, Ohio 45858: The employer did not ensure the pinch point created between the "plunger" and the "tooling" of Tray Former .0092 was adequality guarded. Due to this condition employees tasked with performing in-operation manual removal of trays from the lower conveyors in proximity of the unguarded pinch point were exposed to caught-in hazard.
