29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) 9901 - 9941 Weller Cove, Units 47 - 52 Aberdeen, Foley, Alabama: On February 16, 2024; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 10 feet 1 inch to the ground below. Abelardo Garcia dba Abelardo Garcia was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1652308, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/11/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 16876 Fedora Dr. Lot 37 Robertsdale, Alabama and in in OSHA inspection number 1712863, citation number 2, item number 1, group a and was affirmed as a final order on 03/27/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 503 Hardwood Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama.
