29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): The employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violation had been abated: a) 9691 Pinnacle Road, Paris, NY 13456, on the roof. On or about 4/16/24: Workers were installing roofing materials onto a residential roof with an 8:12 pitch on the main section and a 4:12 pitch on the attached room over garage without fall protection of any kind. Ground to eave heights were approximately 11.5 feet (measured) at the street side up-grade and approximately 15 feet (measured) at the back side low-grade (building on a sloped site). Training was not provided by this employer on the use of fall protection equipment and of the hazards associated with falls in construction nor did the employer provide documentation to demonstrate required post citation training provided for the same. An abatement demand letter was sent to the employer on April 30, 2025. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
