29 CFR  1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening is 6 feet or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches above the walking/working surface, was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system.  a). Site: 40-46 24th Street, Long Island City, NY 11101. On or about April 17, 2024, employees installing window receptors on a wall opening approximately 40-feet from the ground level without a personnel fall arrest system was exposed to a fall hazard.    Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
