29 CFR 1926.502(e)(1): Positioning device systems were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 2 feet (0.9 m): On or about April 18, 2024, an employee was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 20 feet from an aerial lift, and the employee was using a body belt and lanyard, which was not used correctly as a positioning device/restraint system, in order to limit free fall to no more than 2 feet, on a commercial construction site in Mahomet, Illinois.
