29 CFR 1910.178(k)(1):The brakes of highway trucks shall be set and wheel chocks placed under the rear wheels to prevent the trucks from rolling while they are boarded with powered industrial trucks. (a) On or about April 18, 2024, the employer did not secure the trucks and trailer wheels, to prevent the trucks and trailer from rolling while they are boarded with powered industrial vehicles (PIV) to load or unload the trailer, exposing employees to a struck-by or crushing hazard.
