29 CFR  1926.652(c)(1): Designs for timber shoring in trenches were not determined in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth in appendices A and C to this subpart.  a. 12 Ferndale Rd., Short Hills, NJ - Front of house  The employer did not ensure trench shoring was designed in accordance with Appendix C and D of this subpart.  Employees engaged in trenching activities for the installation of a sewer line used sheets of 3/4 inch plywood and 2X4 lumber as a means of cave-in protection.   Violation observed on or about April 19, 2024
