29 CFR 1910.136(a): The employer did not ensure that protective footwear was used where employees were exposed to foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects, or objects piercing the sole: a) Emerstone D.L. Inc. - Throughout the warehouse and yard areas: Steel toe boots were not provided by the employer. Employees were exposed to foot injuries from protruding surfaces, forklift tires and single slabs of stone that weigh approximately 800 pounds. Occurred on or about 04/22/2024.
