29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) On or about April 10, 2024, at the horse shoe bay, employees were not trained on the physical and health hazards of High Calcium Quicklime, a corrosive. b) On or about April 10, 2024, at the horse shoe bay, employees were not trained on the measures they could take to protect themselves from contact hazards with High Calcium Quicklime, a corrosive, such as proper emergency procedures. c) On or about April 10, 2024, at the horse shoe bay, employees were not informed of the presence of hazardous chemicals, such as High Calcium Quicklime, a corrosive, in their work areas.
