29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Cousins Packaging, Inc- Model Number: LP3200, Serial Number: 090922-32L-17958 located at 701 McKean Street, Auburndale, Florida: On or about April 24, 2024, the employer did not ensure that one or more methods of machine guarding such as an interlocked barrier guard, fixed barrier guard and or a presence sensing device were provided to protect employees from struck-by hazards created by the point of operation and rotating parts. b) Cousins Packaging, Inc- Model Number: LP3200, Serial Number: 090922-32L-17957 located at 701 McKean Street, Auburndale, Florida: On or about April 24, 2024, the employer did not ensure that one or more methods of machine guarding such as an interlocked barrier guard, fixed barrier guard and or a presence sensing device were provided to protect employees from struck-by hazards created by the point of operation and rotating parts.
