Main Street side of structure: On or about April 25, 2024, the employer did not ensure that a framer attaching sheathing to the exterior of the building approximately 10 feet, 5 inches from ground level had his safety harness attached to a retractable lanyard while working from an aerial lift.

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while in an aerial lift trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with aerial lifts and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. Main Street side of structure: On or about April 25, 2024, the employer did not ensure that a framers attaching sheathing to the exterior of the building approximately 10 feet, 5 inches from ground level were trained to recognize fall hazards and the steps necessary to minimize those hazards.
