29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  a. On or about April 25, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee working on the ground, under a worker performing residential roofing operations, was not wearing a hard hat to protect against falling materials and debris.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure employees used eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:   a. On or about April 25, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employee using a pneumatic nail gun was not utilizing eye protection, thereby exposing the employee to hazards associated with eye injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a. On or about April 25, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential roofing operations, eighteen (18) feet seven (7) inches above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.  C&N Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1707908, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12-12-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1808-1814 Crenshaw Vernon Hills, IL 60061  C&N Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1703099, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12-12-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 831 Clarendon Lane Aurora, IL 60504.
