29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about April 26, 2024, at 5471 N. University Dr. Coral Springs FL, employees engaged in roofing work at a commercial roof with a slope of 4:12 were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 12-feet above ground level without a means of fall protection. Sombrilla Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1612871, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/16/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 3800 S. Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL.
