29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe-boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about April 29, 2024, at the worksite, employees were exposed to 8 foot 8 inch fall hazards while scraping off shingles and underlayment on a 5/12 pitched roof, in that, fall protection was not used.
