29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) On or about April 30th, 2024, employees at 731 59th Street, Downers Grove, IL 60516, were exposed to unprotected fall hazards in excess of 10 feet during residential roofing activities. The employer did not ensure they were adequately trained to recognize and minimize the hazards associated with falls. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
