29 CFR 1904.4(a):The employer did not record each work-related fatality, injury or illness case that resulted in the general recording criteria on the OSHA Form 300 or equivalent. Establishment -The employer did not record the following instances of work-related injuries/illnesses on the OSHA 300 log: a) Case #1, On or about February 16, 2024, an employee had the back of his hand cut while using a Dewalt DW715 Miter Saw to cut wood to assemble a shipping crate. This is recordable because the employee required medical treatment beyond first aid and received nine stitches to close an open wound.
