29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where (a) portable ladder(s) was/were used for access to an upper level landing surface and the ladder's length did not allow the ladder side rails to extend at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:    a)  At 7265 Patrick Lane, Pensacola, Florida:  On May 1, 2024; the employer allowed his employees to use a job made ladder on site to access the second floor and the rails of the ladder did not extend three feet above the second floor landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 11 feet 8 inches to the ground below.
